Maribel Vargas is a longstanding Human Resources professional who takes great pride in providing a safe and healthy workplace for employees, developing personal connections, and building trust with team members to support and guide them in their careers and professional advancement.
Maribel attended California State University, Los Angeles, where she obtained a Business Administration degree with a focus in Human Resources Management. During her college tenure, she enjoyed taking part in the startup of new college programs that helped students choose career paths that best fit their personalities and interests.
At this same time, and upon graduation, she worked for an education management company, where she established employee guidelines and training programs for staff across different school districts in the LA area. She was among the first ones to be part of the creation of the HR department and later managed the entire recruiting team among various areas of the HR department.
After nearly seven years as a Human Resources specialist for the company, Maribel joined Advent Resources in the role of Recruiter and Human Resources Manager.
At Advent Resources, Maribel is responsible for managing the employee lifecycle, from recruiting and selection to hiring, onboarding, and training. What’s more, she oversees the distribution, communication, and administration of employee benefits programs while maintaining compliance and workplace safety.
Maribel is a passionate HR professional who specializes in interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, communication, administration, and employee law and compliance.
She resides in sunny Southern California and enjoys spending time with family.
