Ben Gill has spent well over 20 years of his professional career in the automotive industry at Advent Resources, where he is laser focused on bringing efficiencies to the car deal, the most critical aspect of dealership sales. Ben joined his father, Tim Gill, Owner at Advent Resources, along with Ysidro Salinas, Founder and Owner, and spent the next two decades focused on optimizing the company’s sales transaction processing system which powers millions of car deals each year for some of the nation’s most successful car dealers.
Ben worked his way through the ranks of the company in Customer Success, Product Development, Accounting and Inside Sales roles, and then served as Director of Sales before being appointed to President of the company in 2016.
Early on, Ben witnessed the exorbitant amount of time, money, and customers that dealers were losing by switching between multiple sales systems with inconsistent and inaccurate interest rates, residuals, taxes, fees, incentives, and payment amounts.
In answer, he dedicated his time working closely with the company’s software developers and engineers to build a single deal calculator with a focused eye on dealer compliance and regulation, that works from the first interaction with the customer all the way through to vehicle delivery. Accurate and consistent data is presented to the customer the first time, every time, throughout each stage of the process.
What’s more, Ben and the Advent Resources team have built deep industry relationships to ensure that the company’s sales system easily and seamlessly integrates with dealer, lender, state and OEM forms, as well as a dealership’s DMS, CRM, and key digital retailers. The end result is a 50% reduction in transaction times for the company’s dealer clients.
For more than two decades, Ben has played a pivotal role in Advent Resources’ growth and success, helping to develop and implement an advanced sales system that streamlines the car buying and selling process for dealerships and consumers alike. He remains steadfast in his mission to help dealers get every penny of profitability on every single transaction, in the most efficient and customer-friendly way possible.
Ben hails from Canada and currently resides in sunny Southern California with his wife and four children.
